RAZORBUCK$ CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

If the Razorback Card is lost or stolen, the student, faculty, staff, or affiliate is responsible for all unauthorized charges. If your Razorback Card is lost or stolen, please go to http://razorbucks.uark.edu to log-in and suspend your card immediately.
1. General Information and Terms:
a. The Account administered by: The Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas, acting for and on behalf of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville -- Razorbuck$ UAF Campus Card Office A division of Student Affairs

c. The undersigned, herein referred to as “Cardholder,” hereby opens a Razorbuck$ account, herein referred to as “Account,” and agrees to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth herein.
d. The University of Arkansas I.D. card (“Razorback Card”) is the property of the University of Arkansas and is nontransferable.
e. An “Affiliate” referred to herein is any individual who possesses a valid Razorback Card but is not a student or employee. Affiliates are bound by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein. Affiliates of the University of Arkansas include:
1. Dependent(s) and/or spouse of a UAF student or employee.
2. Parents of a UAF student.
3. Official visitors of the University of Arkansas and their dependents and/or spouse.
4. Alumni of the University of Arkansas.
5. Official contractors and vendors to the University of Arkansas.
2. The Razorbuck$ Account:
a. The Razorback Card is the sole responsibility of the individual whose information is displayed on the Razorback Card. If the Razorback Card is lost or stolen, the student, faculty, staff or affiliate is responsible for all unauthorized charges. Once the cardholder realizes the Razorback Card is missing, they must immediately suspended it on line at http://razorbucks.uark.edu 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or in the UAF Campus Card Office, Arkansas Union 427 during normal business hours.
b. A Razorbuck$ account may only be opened by an individual who possesses a valid Razorback Card.
c. Only one Account per Cardholder may be valid at any time.
d. A Razorbuck$ Account commences when the Cardholder accepts the Account Agreement by depositing funds into the Razorbuck$ Account at http://razorbucks.uark.edu, in the UAF Campus Card Office or a deposit to machines located in Mullins Library, the Arkansas Union, or Law Library.
e. The Account is a record of pre-deposited funds accessed by the Cardholder for the purpose ofpurchasing products and services.
f. Purchases shall not exceed the amount of deposited funds.
g. The maximum deposit amount is $1,600.00.
h. No interest shall be paid to the Cardholder on any balance in the Account.
i. The Account shall not be used as a credit card or to obtain cash advances.
j. Pre-authorized transfers from the account are not allowed.
k. The Cardholder understands and agrees that the Account is nontransferable.
l. After initial activation, deposits may be made any time in the following manner:
i. In person at the UAF Campus Card Office with cash, check, or money order during normal business hours. All credit or debit card deposits are made online at http://razorbucks.uark.edu/. It is not necessary to be in the UAF Campus Card Office in order to make an on-line deposit.
ii. By mail with a check or money order. Deposits received by mail will be credited to the Account by end of the following business day.
iii. On-line deposits can be made with a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) via the web athttp://razorbucks.uark.edu.
iv. At automated machines located in the Arkansas Union, Mullins Library and the Law Library with cash only in denominations of $1, $5, $10, and $20 dollar bills. No change will be given at these machines.
3 Fees:
a. No charges are assessed to the Cardholder for any purchases.
b. Checks presented for deposit to an Account are submitted to the University Treasurer’s Office. Any checks returned due to insufficient funds will be handled by the Treasurer’s Office and are subject to the fees and conditions of that office.
c. An account that remains inactive for 12 (twelve) consecutive months will be charged a $25 account management fee by the UAF Campus Card Office each month the account remains inactive until the balance equals $0 (zero). This fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
d. A charge is assessed for the replacement of lost, stolen, damaged or misused cards.
4. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards:
a. The Razorback Card is the sole responsibility of the individual whose information is displayed on the Razorback Card. If the Razorback Card is lost or stolen, the student, faculty, staff or affiliate is responsible for all unauthorized charges. A lost or stolen Razorback Card must be reported immediately by one of the following methods during official University of Arkansas business hours 8am to 5pm CST Monday through Friday excluding official UAF holidays:
i. In person at the UAF Campus Card Office, Room 427, Arkansas Union, Fayetteville, AR 72701
ii. By telephone at (479) 575-7563
iii. Online athttp://razorbucks.uark.edu.
b. Outside of UAF Campus Card Office business hours, lost or stolen cards can be deactivated:
i. Online athttp://razorbucks.uark.edu.
c. Once a Razorback Card is reported as lost or stolen, the Account will be deactivated.
d. The Account will be frozen until one of the following occurs:
i. The Razorback Card is reported found in person at the UAF Campus Card Office
ii. A new Razorback Card is issued.
e. Contact the UAF Campus Card Office to replace a lost or stolen Razorback Card.
5. Account Closure:
a. The Razorbuck$ Account may be closed if the Cardholder ceases to be a UAF student, affiliate, or an employee of UAF.
b. The following are required to close an Account:
i. Two (2) forms of picture ID
ii. A completed ‘Account Closure Request Form’ obtained from the UAF Campus Card Office
iii. Proof that the Cardholder is no longer a student or employed by the University of Arkansas.
c. Processing Account closures may take up to ten (10) business days.
6. Refunds and Returns:
a. A refund may be applied for at the UAF Campus Card Office by completing an Account Closure Request Form.
b. Refunds will only be made on closed Accounts.
c. Proof that the Cardholder is no longer either a student or employee of the University of Arkansas must be provided.
d. Any refunds from a closed Account will be applied against any debt that the Cardholder owes to The University of Arkansas. If all debts are paid in full, the Treasurer’s Office will return any remaining balance to the Cardholder.
e. Refunds from account closures to Razorbuck$ accounts will happen in 1 of 2 ways:
i. In order to meet Payment Card Industry requirements and UAF Policy 309.1, purchases made with a credit or debit card are refunded directly to those debit or credit accounts. Account closure refunds will be made directly to the debit or credit card account holder that deposited the funds. Please allow four to 6 weeks for the credit card deposit to be verified and refund processed.
ii. Account closure refunds where the deposit was made by cash or check will be refunded to the Razorbuck$ account holder. A check request will be sent to the University of Arkansas’ Accounts Payable department. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the check request to be processed.f. Cash refunds are not made for returned merchandise. A credit will be made to the Cardholder’s account within three (3) business days from the time the merchandise is returned.
7. Disclosure of Account Information to Third Parties:
a. Information about the Cardholder’s Account will be disclosed to third parties only for the following purposes:
i. To complete a transaction.
ii. Cardholder requests in writing that the information be disclosed.
iii. In order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) the following information will be made available. This Act authorizes schools to release the following information, without consent, to the following parties or under the following conditions:
1. School officials with legitimate educational interests
2. Other schools to which a student is transferring
3. Specified officials for audit or evaluation purposes
4. Appropriate parties in connection with financial aid to a student
5. Organizations conducting certain studies for or on behalf of the school
6. Accrediting organizations
7. To comply with a judicial order or lawfully issued subpoena
8. Appropriate officials in cases of health and safety emergencies
9. State and local authorities, with a juvenile justice system, pursuant to specific State law.
8. Change in Terms and Conditions:
a. The terms and conditions of this Agreement are effective and remain binding until the Cardholder is otherwise notified.
b. If any changes are made to the terms and conditions, the UAF Campus Card Office shall provide the Cardholder with notice of change(s) at least twenty-one (21) days in advance of the effective date by posting such notice on the Razorbuck$ website.
c. Prior notice need not be given where immediate change in terms & conditions is necessary to maintain or restore the Account’s security.
9. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Arkansas.
10. Federal and State Financial Services Regulations The University of Arkansas makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to whether this Agreement is subject to the Electronic Funds Transfer Act or its implementing regulation (collectively “Regulation E”) or other state or federal financial services laws or regulations.
